Connecting to 'MyServer' or 'MyPartners' via a FTP Desktop Link

Find a suitable free space on your desktop and right click and choose from the popup menu "New" and "Shortcut", then enter the ftp:// followed by the IP address you have been given in which to connect to your MyServer virtual server service, completing with a forward slash as follows:-

Then click next and name the link 'MyServer' as follows:-



And then click finish.  That's all there is to the setting up.

To use the shortcut, simply double click it and enter your given username and password as follows:-



Please Note:-
That you can only cut, copy or paste data files into or out of your MyServer folders when accessed via this FTP method.  You need to copy them to your desktop to open them to work or update them and FTP copy them back again when you have finished.  To work like a conventional disc drive, you will need a secure VPN connection.
